Venus Manning | First Parish Cemetery Comes Alive

Venus Manning tells the story of her life as a black woman in South Scituate in the late 18th and 19th century, her and her family's relationship with Reverend William May who integrated First Parish Church as well as it's cemetery, and her prominent status in town towards the end of her life.
